Oakland Raiders Wide Receiver Michael Crabtree makes a crazy leaping catch against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Who said Michael Crabtree couldn’t make clutch plays? That touchdown put the Raiders ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first quarter. It is Crabtree’s fourth touchdown this season… the same amount he scored in the entire 2014 campaign. He also now has 40 receptions for 483 yards. That amounts to 12.1 yards per season.

Many people believed that Crabtree was pretty much done after a difficult 2014 season when the San Francisco 49ers went 8-8. However, his career has been revived across the Bay in Oakland, where he is playing alongside the likes of youngsters Derek Carr and Amari Cooper. So far this season, Crabtree has proven it was Colin Kaepernick who relied on him and not the other way around. Without the weapons that Kaepernick had in previous seasons, he has been errant and indecisive, which led to him getting benched by the one and only (are you kidding me?) Blaine Gabbert.

Times are changing in the Bay Area, with the Raiders looking to clinch their first playoff birth since their Super Bowl appearance in 2002. On the other hand, the 49ers are limping to the finish line with a paltry 2-6 record – firmly in the cellar of the NFC West.
