The Oakland Raiders are finally a competitive team, something they have not been for the better part of the 21st century. On Sunday afternoon, Oakland will try to improve to 5-3 at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team looking to snap a two-game losing streak.

The Steelers are without All-Pro running back Le’Veon Bell, who tore up his knee last week in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. With Bell on the mend, the Steelers will turn to veteran back DeAngelo Williams, who has been productive in a limited role this season. Quarterback Ben Reothlisberger is still spearheading the attack, accompanied by tight end Heath Miller and wide receivers Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant.

Oakland also has plenty of offensive weaponry to spread out a middling Steelers defense with. Second-year quarterback Derek Carr is on pace to throw for more than 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns, already with 15 on the campaign through seven games. Carr’s main weapons are rookie Amari Cooper and free-agent pickup Michael Crabtree, both who could prove tough covers for an underwhelming secondary.

The main question in this game is who can come up with the big play late. It figures to be a close contest, with one of thee teams needing a big third down conversation or a stop late.
