The Indianapolis Colts will likely be without wide receiver T.Y. Hilton today against the Denver Broncos.

Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is considered a ‘longshot’ to play against the Denver Broncos today, but is a game-time decision.

Hilton has a sprained foot, so his time will likely be limited even if he is able to go. This a potentially tough blow for the Colts, who line up against the No. 1 defense. The Broncos limited Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to just 77 passing yards last week.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has struggled this season, although he did show some encouraging signs to come from behind and force overtime against the Carolina Panthers last week. It’s a tough job to move the ball against Denver, however, and missing Hilton will be devastating.

The Broncos have recorded a league-high 29 sacks, and Luck has made some poor decisions with pressure in his face this season. What’s more impressive is Denver has been able to do it with its base defense for much of the time.

Luck and the Colts have a big challenge to take down the undefeated Broncos today, but the task could be made that much harder without Hilton on the field. The game kicks off at from Lucas Oil Stadium at 4:25 p.m. EST.
