The Indianapolis Colts will have T.Y. Hilton on the field Sunday against the Denver Broncos despite missing practice most of the week with a foot sprain

The Indianapolis Colts sit in a first place tie with the Houston Texans despite their 3-5 record. All of those wins have come against opponents from their division, the AFC South.

On Sunday they will look to get their first non-divisional win as they take on the undefeated Denver Broncos who sit at 7-0. The Colts got good news that their biggest receiving threat will be available for the game as T.Y. Hilton is active despite suffering from a sprained foot.

Hilton has 38 receptions on the season for 628 yards and three scores so far this season as he and quarterback Andrew Luck have battled injuries all season long. With neither getting in a good rhythm, it comes as no shock that the team has struggled thus far since they are so heavily dependent on their offense.

The news all week looked like Hilton was not going to be able to suit on Sunday, which would have made things even harder for Indy going against the incredible defense of the Denver Broncos.

Last week Denver held Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to just 77 yards passing. Green Bay’s top wide receiver, Randall Cobb, was held to 27 yards on six catches. Needless to say, even with Hilton the Colts face a tall order. It could have seemed nearly impossible without the speedy wide receiver out there to stretch the defense some.
