7. Anthony Davis

What’s longer: the list of accolades that Anthony Davis will rack up over the years or his unibrow? Let’s be real, when it’s all said and done, Davis’ resume will be flat-out impressive.

He’s only 22 years old, and he’s already considered the best big man in the game right now. He averaged 24.4 points and 10.2 rebounds last season en route to a playoff birth for the New Orleans Pelicans.

With Alvin Gentry taking over the reins as head coach, the Pelicans could be the next team in the Western Conference to go from good to great. Obviously, Eric Gordon is going to need to stay healthy. He’s missed 88 games in the past four seasons.

Tyreke Evans seems to have turned around his game since leaving the Sacramento Kings, but again, it’s all going to come back to how well Davis plays. He’s the early favorite to win the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award this season.

Only in his rookie season did Davis average less than two blocks per game, and he’s averaged at least one steal four all four of his years in the league. Davis will be, not just a frontrunner for the MVP, but he’ll be a front-runner for the Defensive Player of the Year Award.

And depending on how well the Pelicans can improve off their 45-37 record from last season, Gentry might be starring down a possible Coach of the Year Award. Of course, that too will be left up to Davis.
