The Chicago Bears were able to come back in the fourth quarter and beat the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football at Qualcomm Stadium. Chicago was down 16-7 but came back behind a furious Jay Cutler rally, aided by the fine play of running back Jeremy Langford throughout the night.
San Diego simply could not execute in the clutch. On its final scoring drive, the Chargers should have had a touchdown but was undone by penalties on both receiver Steve Johnson and right tackle D.J. Fluker. The Chargers dropped to 2-7 while the Bears have improved to 3-6.

Three Stars
1. Jay Cutler
Cutler got the job done in the second half, rebounding from his second-quarter pick-six to throw for 345 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Cutler was tough as nails, taking some big shots to deliver the ball.
2. Alshon Jeffery
Jeffery was a monster in this game, showing why he is one of the elite receivers in the game. Jeffery caught 10 passes for 151 yards, being targeted 16 times against a depleted San Diego roster.
3. Jeremy Langford
Langford ran 18 times for 72 yards and scored a touchdown along with a two-point conversion. Langford was also a threat out of the backfield in the passing game, catching three passes for 70 yards.
Odds
San Diego was favored by 4.5 points and could not cover the spread over Chicago.
Next Week
The Chargers are on a BYE week while the Bears are on the road to take on the St. Louis Rams.
