Philadelphia Eagles tackle Lane Johnson ‘put a little extra mustard’ when blocking Greg Hardy.

There has been plenty of controversy surrounding Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy of late, and Philadelphia Eagles tackle Lane Johnson admitted to putting ‘a little extra mustard’ on his blocks of Hardy in the Eagles’ 33-27 victory over the Cowboys, according to Mike Sielski of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

"“Anytime I got a chance to put a little extra mustard on a block, I tried,” Eagles tackle Lane Johnson said. “He wasn’t all that emotional in the game. I don’t know if the stuff got to him on the news, but he seemed out of it a little bit.”"

Johnson further enforced his message on Twitter.

Eagles center Jason Kelce didn’t hold back on his comments post-game either, per Marcus Hayes of Philly Daily News.

"“There are three (types) of people I have zero respect for in this world,” said Pro Bowl center Jason Kelce. “It’s people who hit women, people who molest children, and rapists. I’m glad he didn’t have a good day and . . .“I don’t know. I think it’s a joke a guy like that is able to play this quickly.”"

Hardy finished the game with three tackles and a sack, which by his standards can be seen as an average game. Amid all of the controversy surrounding the pass rusher this season, and in particular this week with photos revealed of his ex-girlfriend’s injuries.

After the game, Hardy refused to speak to the media and rode off in a Ferrari. A lot of players aren’t happy with the fact Hardy is playing right now, and the Cowboys pass rusher can probably expect more of the treatment he received from future opponents.

The Cowboys have now lost six straight without Tony Romo and have seen their early tiebreaker advantages over the Giants and Eagles split. They take on the Buccaneers next week in the final game before Romo can return.
