When you root for the Chicago Bears, you need to get creative or accept long-term depression. Since nobody wants to actually look at the field and watch a lifeless defense and a still-horrendous Jay Cutler, check out this guy in the stands at Qualcomm Stadium during Chicago’s game against the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football.

Look at the smile on that guy. He could not be happier to be at a game that the Bears have never had the lead in. Chicago fell behind 13-0 in the first half in a game that has included a pick-six of Cutler by Jason Verrett, and yet this man is still partying. At least he is enjoying the warm coastal weather of San Diego and not dealing with the cold that is setting into the Windy City.

The Bears are 2-5 and not giving fans much hope for a turnaround this season, so why not remember the glory days? Mike Ditka was a Hall of Fame tight end for the Bears in the 1960s before becoming head coach of the team in 1983. Ditka led the Bears to their only Super Bowl title in 1985, sporting perhaps one of the greatest defenses of all-time.
