Joseph Randle has suffered another setback and his future in the NFL is very uncertain.

Ex-Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating the leagues personal-conduct policy. Randle was released by the Cowboys last week. The discipline by the NFL stems from an incident in February, where Randle was arrested in Wichita, Kansas after being accused for domestic violence and possessing marijuana.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported the news late Tuesday afternoon.

Randle has had trouble with the law in the past few years. Along with the arrest he had in Kansas, he was also arrested for shoplifting in October of 2014. Randle is currently a free-agent and it is doubtful a team will sign him this year now that his suspension has been implemented.

Randle was supposed to carry the running load for the Cowboys this season after DeMarco Murray left the team in free agency for Philadelphia. Randle hasn’t been able to keep his head on straight and focus on football, and as a result, his future in the NFL is very cloudy.

Randle does posses talent and has had some good games in the past, but his mental health is not stable right now, and he needs to get spiritually healthy before he plays in the NFL again.
