Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Advice

We have seen two weeks play out and we have now seen rotations become tighter, and by and large we know now what players are going to be, and about how much run they are going to get this season. Now it is probably time to cut some of those guys you drafted and have been hoping that they would pan out such as David Lee or maybe David West. If you do not learn to act quickly in fantasy basketball you will quickly learn that you will not stick around very long. Basketball rotation can sometimes change nightly and guys will earn minutes at any time. In the years that I have played fantasy NBA in every league I have seen the title decided by who was the most active and smartest guy playing the waiver wire.

With that said here are some guys that are under 50% ownership in ESPN standard leagues that I would be looking to add as soon as possible to my teams.

C – Joakim Noah – Noah has been playing well the last few games and was prepared to move into the starting lineup before the tilt on the 9th against the 76ers. Right before the game started he informed coaches that his knee was sore and he was removed. Noah is a guy you might find on your waiver wire that could make in immediate impact for your fantasy team and thanks to that injury and not being a starter could very well be available on your league’s waiver wire.

SG – Joe Johnson – Johnson looks to finally be shaking off the early season slump that he has been in. Johnson has played well over the last 4 games and looks to be a nice mid-level player that should be an asset to most fantasy teams. Give him a look if you are in need of help at the SG position.

C – Zaza Pachulia – Pachulia has been playing pretty well down in Dallas. He has a double-double in two of his last four games. If you are in need of help at the C position and in need of boards then Pachulia could very well be your man.

SG – Marcus Thornton – Thornton seems to be fitting in nicely with the Rockets and providing a very nice scoring punch. Thornton has dropped between 12 and 21 points in all five games that he has played in.

PG – T.J. McConnell – McConnell has made his way to the top of the depth chart for the 76ers. He is finding a very useful role for both the 76ers and for fantasy teams. Chances are he is already scooped up in your league, but if he is not you need to act now!

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you the best of luck!
