An unnamed Oakland Raiders player is under police investigation for an incident on Sunday involving a K-9 police dog.

UPDATE: The player has been reportedly identified as Ray-Ray Armstrong.

The Oakland Raiders might have lost more than the game on Sunday in Pittsburgh, as the team is in hot water for a very Black Hole reason. In a throwback to the good ol’ days of the Raiders, an unnamed player is reportedly under police investigation for an ‘incident’ on Sunday that involved a K-9 police dog in the tunnel of Heinz Field.

According to WTAE in Pittsburgh, the player reportedly taunted a K-9 dog, which is a third-degree felony.

"The incident allegedly happened Sunday in a tunnel at the stadium on the North Shore, where a sheriff’s deputy was working with the K-9 at the Steelers-Raiders game."

We don’t yet know who this player was and it’s worth noting that there are no charges being pressed nor were any arrests made. No one has been fined — no one has even been named — so this is merely a situation to monitor.

But it also happens to be the most Raiders thing to happen in a while. Even in a season where the team is looking like a playoff contender, they still find a way to go retro with the screw ups and live strong in the Raider Way.
