UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey feels like it is her against the world.

At UFC 193, bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Holly Holm at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. It is Rousey’s second straight title fight outside of the United States as she goes on her own world tour of sorts.

Rousey’s world tour is indicative of her growing presence on the international stage, but also indicative of how she feels going into her third title fight of 2015.

“I feel like it’s me vs. the world all the time in that everyone out there is just waiting for the first reason to believe all the worst things about me,” Rousey said, via Sports Illustrated. “It sucks and it’s a sh–ty relationship. Any other relationship I have in my life isn’t like that. Anyone who says they love me and how all the things I’m doing are awesome wouldn’t jump to hate me over the first thing they could possibly hold against me, but sometimes I feel the entire world looks at me that way.

“That is why I try not to take anything too personal. I don’t know them personally and they don’t know me personally so I shouldn’t take anything personal.”

Never before has this attitude from Ronda Rousey been more evident than in the first episode of Embedded for UFC 193 when she discuss the backlash over her comments about lube.

“What should a guy always do? Take his time. In general, a girl takes a minute. He needs to get her ready. You should never need lube in your life. If you need lube, then you’re being lazy…and you’re not taking your time,” Rousey wrote in response to a fan question for Maxim.

There was an incredible amount of backlash over Rousey’s comments, which she addresses on camera, when her intentions were good natured as she implored men to be more considerate to the women in their lives needs.
