After the strange occurrence of Gerald Green being hospitalized and suspended, it appears he was suspended for punching someone during a strange outburst.

The story of Miami Heat guard Gerald Green being hospitalized and suspended seems to take a weird turn with each passing day. After it was Green was hospitalized for four days, for what was believed to be a strange outburst at his condo, people were wondering what happened.

Then after Green was released from the hospital, the Heat went ahead and suspended him for a couple of games because of conduct that was considered to be detrimental to the team.

Now according to The Miami Herald, it appears that Green had punched someone at his condo during the very odd ordeal.

"But a Nov. 4 City of Miami police incident report shed more light. Green, 29, showed up at the front desk of his condo with bloody hands, asked a clerk to call paramedics, then walked outside into the valet area, where he collapsed. Then Green recovered, walked back inside and punched someone in the eye who was trying to stop him from going back up to his apartment, the report says. The victim, though — a Hispanic male in his 30s who came to Green’s aid after he collapsed — chose not to press charges, police said."

There are just so many strange things to take away from this incident. The big question still that remains a mystery, is why was Green all bloodied up and in need of paramedics?

So it seems like his suspension from the Heat stems from punching the person trying to help him. Whatever the case may be, his outburst is still very much a mystery as to what happened at his condo.

All that is known right now, is that Green was bloodied, asked for paramedics, collapsed and then came to and punched someone trying to help him.

This is easily the strangest story of the young NBA season thus far.
