Kristaps Porzingis beat by the buzzer

Kristaps Porzingis almost gave us what we all wanted. After a basket by Cody Zeller, Porzingis got off a three for the win and connected…only to learn it left his hand too late. It was too perfect to be true. (h/t @talkhoops)

Nikola Vucevic, on the other hand, got his game winner off in plenty of time. The Lakers found a way to lose another game, this time in heartbreaking fashion. And the feel good story of the early season Magic continues even in a game in which the team didn’t play all that well. (h/t @talkhoops)

Your daily dose of Stephen Curry being awesome. I know, you think you’ve seen him do it all. Well, you’re wrong. He keeps finding new ways to amaze. (h/t @NBA)

RACHE!

That’s revenge in German. Dirk Nowitzki may be on his last leg, and the Mavericks may not be a title contender this year, but the win in Dallas against DeAndre Jordan had to feel good. While Chandler Parsons and Mark Cuban continue to take not-so-subtle shots at Jordan, Dirk simply turned back the clock and delivered a 31-point performance, which included this late bucket. DeAndre’s “return” to Dallas didn’t work out, but LaMarcus Aldridge’s return to Portland went just fine. While Aldridge played well and led the Spurs in scoring, Kawhi Leonard looked like the best player on the floor, including this impossible slam on Mason Plumlee. Leonard landed on his arm, but stayed in the game. (h/t @World_Wide_Wob)
