Check out the results of tonight’s game between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets.

This week’s Thursday Night Football game featured the Buffalo Bills heading into MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets. This was former Jets head coach Rex Ryan’s first trip back to his old team’s home. The game would end up working out very well for him.

Through the first two quarters, the game was a defensive battle. The Jets led 3-0 and it seemed like whoever made the most takeaways would win this game, which ended up being the case.

In the 2nd quarter, Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw an interception. While it did not result in points for the Bills, it turned the momentum in Buffalo’s favor for the rest of the game.

The first evidence of this was on a kickoff return by Jets wide receiver Devin Smith. As he carried the ball out, he fumbled with his knee inches away from the ground, leading to Bills special team player Duke Williams taking the ball to the end zone for a touchdown to make the score 9-3 (missed extra point). The score would be pushed to 12-3 with a late field goal.

In the third quarter, Bills running back Karlos Williams caught a 26-yard touchdown pass for a score to make it 19-3. A field goal would increase the lead to 22-3.

Late in the third , the Jets would finally get a touchdown on the board. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall caught a 14-yard pass to the end zone to make it 22-10.

It wouldn’t be over yet, as Jets wide receiver Eric Decker made a great catch in traffic to score a touchdown to make the game 22-17 mid-way through the fourth quarter.

On the next drive, the Bills would be forced to punt. However, Colton Schmidt would mishandle the ball and not be able to get off the punt. However, they would be unsuccessful in their attempt to score. The final score would be Bills over the Jets, 22-17.
