The Bills got a big break when Corey Graham pounced on a tipped ball for an interception

Though neither offense was doing much of anything in the Thursday Night Football matchup between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills in Week 10, it was the Jets who were moving the ball slightly more effectively than the Bills. With the New York defense stifling the Bills offense, it seemed like Buffalo was going to need a big defensive play to put points on the board. Enter Corey Graham.

With the Jets looking like they could get something cooking after already jumping out to a 3-0 lead, New York quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick tried to fire a pass into Brandon Marshall over the middle of the field. Stephon Gillmore had solid coverage on Marshall, but the ball still hit the Jets receiver in the hands. Fortunately for the Bills, Marshall couldn’t haul it in and tipped the ball in the air where Corey Graham was waiting to pounce for the interception:

After Graham’s solid return after making the pick, the Bills started with nice field position on the drive. Though their offense didn’t get anything of consequence going on the ensuing drive, they started deep enough in Jets territory that they were in field goal range to tie the game up at 3-3. For good measure, they made another big defensive play by forcing a fumble on the ensuing kick return and taking it to the house.
