We’re two weeks into the NBA season and already there have been shake ups across the board.

Next: NBA Power Rankings Week 2

Even though the season is just two weeks old at this point, there is already some separation between the men and boys in the NBA. The Golden State Warriors might very will win 70 games this season, as they remain undefeated heading into this week’s power rankings, while the Cavaliers are right up there with them alongside the Spurs.

But not everyone had a good week, as the separation at the top means there’s a hodgepodge the rest of the way down that gets messier the further you fall.

Chicago, Toronto and Los Angeles all fell from where they were last week, but no team fell as hard as the Oklahoma City Thunder. Despite turning around their 2-3 record, the Thunder have already lost Kevin Durant for an extended period of time which is exactly what they didn’t need to happen.

The knock on OKC was that they’re only as good as KD allows them to be — a test Billy Donovan is facing just two weeks into the season.

BIGGEST FALL:

Previous: . Oklahoma City Thudner. 16th. team. 69. . (5-3)

Where the Thunder fell a whopping 12 spots from last week, there was a team that did most the exact opposite. Indiana didn’t jump as far as OKC fell, but they used a solid turnaround week to move up double digit spots in this week’s rankings.

BIGGEST RISER:

100. . (5-4). Previous: . Indiana Pacers. 15th. team

None of this is fatal or definitively positive one way or another for teams this week. We’re not even 20 days into the season yet, so all of this can shift violently before next week.

That’s exactly what we saw for a lot of teams this week, so it’s hardly the end of the road for anyone — well, almost anyone.
