NFL quarterback rankings, Week 10
The National Football League is a quarterback-driven entity. A team can be strong across the board, but without a good quarterback, it has no chance.
The New York Jets are one of the more complete teams in the league, but they have no chance of winning anything in January. Why? Because Ryan Fitzpatrick is decent but nothing near the level of Tom Brady or the 2015 version of Andy Dalton. Fitzpatrick might be able to win a playoff game, but the Super Bowl? No shot.
On the other side of the coin, you can have a very mediocre roster but excel because of the quarterback. The Atlanta Falcons are a middling group, but Matt Ryan is getting the job done. The Oakland Raiders are also being elevated by the play of second-year man Derek Carr, who has them in the postseason hunt.
