2016 is an even year. You know what that means. The San Francisco Giants will most likely make a World Series run. Here’s who they should add to help.

The San Francisco Giants are in a pretty interesting spot entering the 2015 offseason. They had a payroll of roughly $180,000,000 during the 2015 season. They are getting about $60,000,000 off the books this offseason, meaning that they are in a position to spend. That’s exactly what they’ll do since they are a big market team.

What are they going to spend that extra money on? They will most likely use it to pursue starting pitching. Madison Bumgarner is an ace. They desperately need a #2 starter to complement him, especially since they can’t rely on Matt Cain to be healthy at this point in his career. The Giants have won their past three World Series behind their rotations. The way it looks right now, the San Francisco Giants likely aren’t winning the World Series. Pitching is a clear need for San Francisco.

They could also explore adding some bats to their lineup. Doing that will require some research because not every hitter is best-suited for AT&T Park, which is the most pitcher-friendly park in all of baseball. They can certainly stand to add some power. They will also look to improve their outfield by any means necessary.

Here are five free agent targets for the Giants as they look to win their fourth World Series since 2009.
