14. Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (USC)

The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has been home to a handful of professional sports teams over the years such as the Los Angeles Rams, the Dodgers, the Raiders and even the Chargers – back when they were located in the city. Now it’s only home to the USC Trojans of the Pac-12, making it one of the most special places in the country to play a college football game.

History engraved in the walls goes back to 1923 when it first opened and thousands of collegiate and professional athletes have played on this field over the years.

Not only does this have American sports history to brag about, but the Trojans’ home field was also the grounds where two Olympic games were held in 1932 and 1984 and it’s part of a proposal to host the 2024 Olympics as well. Famous athletes from around the world have come in and performed on this very field, making it well-known around the globe.

Oh yeah, and it has hosted Super Bowls and even a World Series. This place is about as historic as man-made landmarks come.

Although USC has been somewhat of a mess in 2015, the Coliseum is known as one of the scariest places to play in all of college football and the Trojans have the backing of about 90,600 fans every Saturday. History lives here.
