We’ve heard often enough about how Kobe Bryant loves to play at Madison Square Garden. But last night it was LeBron James’ turn to face the bright lights of the big city, as the Cleveland Cavaliers traveled to New York to take on the Knicks.

It should come as no surprise, however, that LeBron responded quite well, putting on a brilliant 31-point display that included multiple highlight reel gems.

First, he was soaring through the air for an alley-oop on which he actually jumped a little too high for his own good. No seriously, he hurt himself on the rim because he’s too athletic.

Then, he was spinning his way through the lane for a ridiculous finish that has to be seen to be believed. Jose Calderon was so flustered he didn’t even move until LeBron was past him.

Then he finished off the night with a clutch jumper despite some pretty solid defense from Carmelo Anthony.

That’s why they call him the King.
