Check out this bizarre play that involved Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer fumbling the ball.
The Arizona Cardinals started out tonight’s Sunday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks great. They were driving down the field, scoring points and getting big defensive stops. Unfortunately for them, this only lasted during the first half.
Once the second half came, the Seahawks took over. Quarterback Russell Wilson clicked with his wide receivers and the defense made some great plays to stop the Cardinals.
One of those defensive plays involved a bizarre fumble early in the 4th quarter. Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer dropped back for a pass but got swarmed by Seattle’s front seven. Cliff Avril would sack Palmer, causing the football to come free. The ball then kicked up in the air and into K.J. Wright’s hands. He would bring the ball down to the 3 yard line, leading to a Marshawn Lynch rushing touchdown. They would fail to convert the 2 point conversion, making the score 25-23, Cardinals.

If plays like this constantly happen in the 4th quarter, we may get another hour-long show like we did with the 3rd quarter. Who knows, maybe this game will go to overtime in Buffalo Wild Wings commercial style.
On the next possession for the Cardinals, Palmer would get strip-sacked again. This time, the Seahawks recovered the football and brought it into the end zone for a touchdown.

They would go for the two-point conversion for a second time and be unsuccessful. The game is now at 29-25, Seahawks.
