Jamaal Charles, err, Charcandrick West put the final nail in the Denver Broncos’ coffin with this electric 80-yard touchdown catch-and-run.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Charcandrick West may be no Jamaal Charles, but he has filled in nicely as the primary backup. He had himself a memorable day against a strong Denver Broncos defense with two touchdowns, but he put the icing on the cake and told the Broncos to get out of his house with an 80-yard touchdown catch. Here is a video of West slamming the door on the Broncos with this amazing run.

And this one is going 80 yards to the house! #KCvsDEN https://t.co/X2RzzpbAEu
West has taken on the Chiefs’ starting running back job since Charles went down with a torn ACL, and he has heated up in his last three games. He established a career high by rushing for 110 yards in Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he ran for another 97 with another touchdown in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions. West had three catches for 92 yards in the Chiefs’ win over the Broncos while adding 53 rushing yards and a touchdown run. While the Chiefs’ playoff hopes are still slim, West has helped their run offense stay respectable.
This will mark the first time that the Chiefs have defeated the Broncos in the Peyton Manning era, but there is no way the Broncos could win after Manning’s performance that consisted of 35 yards and four interceptions on 5-of-20 passing for a 0.0 quarterback rating. Manning was eventually benched in the third quarter for Brock Osweiler, but the Broncos’ disastrous day persisted as they suffered a blowout loss.
