Dez Bryant was interfered with at end of Cowboys-Bucs game

When Dez Bryant didn’t go up for a pass at the end of the Cowboys loss to the Buccaneers, it turns out he was actually interfered with.
When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, it was a stunning turn of events that left fans all over the NFL shocked at what they saw. Not only was this the seventh straight loss by the Cowboys, but it was a loss that came on what appeared to be a very valid pass interference call that went unflagged.
In what turned out to be the final play of the game, Matt Cassel threw an all-or-nothing ball to Dez Bryant, which was intercepted by Brandon McDonald — effectively ending the game. Bryant immediately called for a pass interference penalty that wasn’t called by the officials and the game ended.
As was pointed out, the Cowboys have a gripe to pick with the officials in the game as Dez Bryant was no doubt interfered with at the end of the game.
Now, there was a lot that happened here that led to there being no flag — namely Bryant not jumping up for the ball and making it more apparent that he was being pushed. But that doesn’t change the fact that the Buccaneers won the game on what should have been a penalty but somehow got away with it.
Tampa Bay needed a win against a good opponent this year in Jameis Winston’s year of growth and his game-winning touchdown drive was still phenomenal. But this puts a damper on things — a little — as the Cowboys are right to be angry their losing streak continued in this fashion.
