Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is active for the Denver Broncos‘ matchup with AFC West rivals Kansas City Chiefs.

Peyton Manning has all his weapons at his disposal when he faces the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Emmanuel Sanders is active for the Denver Broncos, and after doubts over his availability all week, this is huge news. The Broncos’ wide receiver has been listed as questionable with an ankle injury and it was thought that he may not be able to take the field. However, after undergoing assessment in warm ups, Denver’s coaches have deemed their stud fit.

Sanders has missed practice all week due to soreness and swelling in his ankle. The injury was suffered midway through last week’s loss with the Indianapolis Colts, and although he was able to stay on the field last week, his lack of practice has been worrisome for Gary Kubiak. It will be a crucial bounce back game for the Broncos, and with injuries and suspensions shackling them on defense, it is crucial that the offense has all of its best players available.

Sanders is most certainly one of Denver’s better players, especially on offense, posting 639 yards and fiour touchdowns and the tandem of himself and Demaryius Thomas outside have been a potent pair over the last few years. Both were well over 1,000 yards last season, and although Peyton has had his struggles this season, the Broncos’ offense has began to roll in recent weeks. While Denver is free and clear in the AFC West, they will be keen to extend their unbeaten run over Kansas City. Sanders will most certainly help them and Manning secure yet another win.
