The Chicago Bears were able to throttle the St. Louis Rams on Sunday afternoon and improved to 4-5 on the season, perhaps keeping them alive in the NFC playoff race. Chicago has now won two straight games and suddenly looks like a team on the rise under first-year head coach John Fox.
After the 37-13 win at the Edwards Jones Dome, tight end Martellus Bennett was talking to reporters in the locker room and decided to go off. Bennett went after the Rams, calling them the little brother of the Seattle Seahawks and then tagging them as frontrunners, per Deadspin.

Bennett did very little in the contest, catching three passes for 18 yards. That said, he was one of the best tight ends in the National Football League over the past few seasons, showcasing a terrific blend of size and speed. Bennett is perhaps the most reliable target on the team for Jay Cutler, playing every game this season.
Chicago is trailing the Green Bay Packers by two games in the NFC North and the Minnesota Vikings by 2.5 games. The Bears are not likely to win the division but the wild card is not out of reach. Beating the Rams could help tremendously in the tiebreaker department come January.
