Peyton Manning breaks all-time passing record (Video)

Peyton Manning has finally broken the all-time passing yards record after falling three yards short in Week 9.
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has established himself even more as a lock for the Hall of Fame, as he has broken the all-time record for career passing yards. Former Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre previously held this record with 71,838 yards, but Manning reached 71,840 as of his record-breaking throw. It was not a particularly memorable play as it came on a four-yard pass to running back Ronnie Hillman, but Manning now holds the record for passing yards and touchdown passes. Here is the play where Manning broke the record.
Manning had already broken the touchdown record in the 2014 season with his 509th touchdown in Week 7, but he currently has 539. The Broncos trail the Kansas City Chiefs in the first quarter, so breaking any records is the last thing on Manning’s mind at the moment. However, he has a lot of accomplishments to be proud of with the yards record being just another notch in his belt.
The Broncos quarterback has also matched Favre by becoming the second quarterback in NFL history to beat all 32 teams. He accomplished this in the 2014 season opener by leading the Broncos to victory over the Indianapolis Colts after Favre did this against the Packers in 2009. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger have beaten every team except their own, but they have spent their entire careers with their respective teams.
