A Raiders fan got on the field in Oakland, but Minnesota’s Antone Exum made the stop

The Oakland Raiders still had a chance at a win late in the fourth quarter against the Minnesota Vikings at home at the O.co Coliseum. With time winding down in the game, the Raiders were set to get their most important drive of the game underway, but not before a fan jumped the railing and began running onto the field.

As many idiots have done before, this fan got onto the field and just began his slow trot down the sideline. However, rather than first being caught by security, Vikings second-year cornerback Antone Exum Jr. ran over and trapped the fan before helping to make the tackle:

The look on the fan’s face after Exum brings him down is one of the best things you’ll ever see. It’s a goofy smile that is a beautiful combination of the joy of being brought down by an NFL player, the realization that he’s going to jail soon after this moment, and the likely immense inebriation of one too many adult beverages consumed on the afternoon.

It’s not surprising that it would be a Vikings defender who made the stop on the Raiders fan, though. The defense had been stifling Oakland’s offense all day, so it’s only fitting that they’d do the same to the fans.
