Greg Hardy continues to be the center of controversy in Week 10

Greg Hardy has been in the news on a consistent basis for all of the wrong reasons. Whether it’s because of his past instances of domestic violence or because of his questionable decision-making in the present time, the Dallas Cowboys defensive end always seems to be in the middle of some sort of controversy. The Cowboys Week 10 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was no different.

According to a report from Kristi Scales, who works as a sideline reporter for the Cowboys Radio Network, Hardy and Dallas defensive end Demarcus Lawrence got in each other’s face on the sideline at one point during the first half versus the Bucs and had to be separated so the situation didn’t escalate further.

The Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones have made it abundantly clear throughout the storm of controversy that Hardy has brought to the team that they will continuously defend him and give him second chances. We’ve already seen them do just that in another incident between Hardy and teammate Dez Bryant earlier this season when Hardy was apoplectic and getting the face of Bryant, other teammates, and coaches.

Even if Jones and head coach Jason Garrett continue to make excuses and defend Hardy, it’s only becoming clearer by the week that he is going to remain a problem in terms of his attitude. Even if he expressed (hollowly) regret for his past and his commitment to moving forward, his actions and incidents like this speak louder than any comments on social media.
