Ricardo Lockette was on hand in Seattle to cheer on his Seahawks against the Cardinals
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette was part of a scene that you never want to see in the NFL or a football game in general. During his team’s Week 8 game against the Dallas Cowboys, Lockette took a big hit and was motionless for minutes. He showed movement eventually, but his injuries were still severe. Lockette underwent neck surgery with the hopes that he would even just be able to walk again.
After a successful surgery and just two weeks after the initial injury, Lockette is back at the Seahawks home in CenturyLink field to watch his team take on the Arizona Cardinals in the Week 10 edition of Sunday Night Football. He’s not only there, he’s part of the raucous 12th Man shaking the stadium as he cheered and waved a towel for his team prior to kickoff:

Considering the condition we last saw Lockette in on television as he was being carted off of the field, this is unquestionably an awesome sight. Not only is he there to support his teammates, but the receiver is doing it with fervor and excitement.
Lockette still has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but he’s obviously already taking huge strides early on in his recovery. After the hit he took and the injuries he suffered, that’s great to see.
