Sam Bradford’s concussion that he suffered Sunday may have been so bad that he forget a good portion of the game.

During Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford suffered a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder as well as a concussion. Mark Sanchez would replace him for the rest of the game, and the team lost 20-19.

Concussions are obviously never good, but Bradford’s may have been so bad that he forgot what happened in the first half of the game, according to Howard Eskin of FOX 29 TV.

This is a terrible sign for Bradford’s status going forward. He’ll likely be tested multiple times this week for symptoms that carry on and be re-evaluated. While his status for next week’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is not known now, it would be shocking to see him play in that one.

Now the Eagles will have to go forward with Sanchez as their starting quarterback for however long Bradford is out for. They also lost running back Ryan Mathews to a concussion today, so the Eagles’ offense is getting banged up fast. Thankfully for them, the NFC East is not good so these injuries may not be the end of it for them.
