J.J. Watt made a kid’s day complete by playing catch with him and handing him his gloves before taking on the Bengals on Monday Night Football.

The Houston Texans have been awful this season. Defensive end J.J. Watt hasn’t let that stop him from being awesome both on and off the field. Before his Texans squared off against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football, Watt ran into some Texans fans in Cincinnati. He made their days better by playing catch with them.

It’s so great in this day and age to see guys like Watt appreciate the people who are the number one reason he gets paid so much money to live his dream. Guys like Greg Hardy dominate the storylines virtually every week while Watt is about as humble of a superstar as the NFL has ever seen. The best part? Watt doesn’t seem to care. He just wants to play football and experience his dream with the fans.

When Watt was done playing catch with fans around the stadium, Watt made a young boy’s day by giving him his gloves.

The NFL needs more people like Watt. Not just on the field, but off it as well. Watt has 40 tackles and 8.5 sacks this season. The fact that people are calling that a down year for Watt shows you how excellent he is at what he does. Excellence is demanded and expected from Watt every time he’s in public. He lives up to that high standard that he has set for himself virtually every time.
