College Football Playoff 2015 Rankings: Week 12

The College Football Playoff selection comittee has announced the new Top 25.

Every Tuesday night the college football world tunes into the College Football Playoff committee selection show, when the newest rankings are revealed. These are the rankings that determine the four teams that will complete in the playoff.

Baylor clearly tumbled down the rankings after losing to Oklahoma at home in Waco, falling to No. 10. The Sooners moved all the way up to seven. Michigan State also leapfrogged into the top 10, climbing from 13th to ninth.

The Sooners are climbing and gaining momentum after beating Baylor, and they still have TCU and Oklahoma State ahead to make their case to be in the playoffs despite that loss to Texas in October.

LSU was another team that fell out of the top of the rankings.

Here are the top 25.

The top four remained the same.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame

The first two out were undefeated Iowa and Oklahoma State, being held behind Notre Dame who has a single loss.

5. Iowa
6. Oklahoma State

7. Oklahoma
8. Florida
9. Michigan State
10. Baylor

LSU and Stanford slid out of the top 10.

11. Stanford
12. Michigan
13. Utah
14. Florida State
15. LSU

Navy, North Carolina and Houston were all big movers, climbing into the top 20.

16. Navy
17. North Carolina
18. TCU
19. Houston
20. Northwestern

Three teams moved into the rankings.

22. Ole Miss
23. Oregon
24. USC
25. Wisconsin
