Trevor Booker produced one of the wildest NBA moments you’ll ever see

As the Utah Jazz took on the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night, the officials were forced to stop play for a bit as the ball got stuck behind the basket as it became lodged in the frame. While the stoppage itself was strange, Jazz forward Trevor Booker had something even crazier in store as he dislodged the ball so that they could continue the game.

Booker brought a broom out onto the floor and used his height to stick the broom up and poke the ball free. When he did, though, the ball bounced up off the top of the backboard, deflected off the shot clock, and then fell threw the net as Booker celebrated his likely unintentional trick shot triumph:

If you’ll recall, this isn’t the first time that Booker has made an absolutely insane trick shot. Last season, in a matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Booker tried to get a shot off with only 0.2 seconds left on the shot clock. To do so, he simply tipped the ball over his head with his back to the basket. That shot also somehow went in:

There have been some people over the years who have proposed instituting a H-O-R-S-E competition at All-Star Weekend, but I’m not so sure that’s a good idea. Trevor Booker is making it pretty clear that he would dominate that competition pretty handily, granted that he can bring a broom.
