There are 13 games making up the Saturday afternoon tournament this week, meaning there are a few less options than the earlier ones on Saturdays. That still gives us plenty of options to choose from. Who are the best? Let’s go digging!

More from College Football Odds

My Tuesday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Thursday lineups placed last week. I placed in one of the Saturday lineups, but there were too many duds to actually make much money. Greg Ward and Trevone Boykin leaving with injuries hurt if you spent on them.

Next: Who Will Put Up Big Numbers At QB?

November 14, 2015; Stanford, CA, USA; Oregon Ducks quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. (3) celebrates after the game against the Stanford Cardinal at Stanford Stadium. The Ducks defeated the Cardinal 38-36. Mandatory Credit: Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Quarterback:

Best Bets:

Keenan Reynolds, Navy ($8,600): Reynolds set the FBS career record for rushing touchdowns last weekend scoring four on the ground against SMU. Tulsa’s defense is not as bad as SMU’s is, but I wouldn’t call them good either. They have been knocked around by good offenses all year. Navy is one-dimensional, but they are very good in that one dimension. Look for another strong game from Reynolds as Navy chases down a New Year’s Six berth.

Dak Prescott, Mississippi State ($9,500): Prescott has four straight games with over 300 passing yards, and that includes games against Missouri and Alabama, who are in the top 40 in pass defense. Arkansas had their way with Leonard Fournette last week, so Prescott could find the going slow on the ground once again, but Arkansas’ pass defense is 112th in the country. He should see his fifth straight 300+ yard game.

Honorable Mention:

Cody Kessler, USC ($7,700): Kessler has struggled mightily lately, but Oregon’s 126th ranked pass defense should cure what ails him. USC’s new-found ground game should only be helping, but it’s not. He needs a receiver besides JuJu Smith to step up. Stay tuned on that front, but at any rate, everything seems aligned for him to have a sold game against the Ducks.

Vernon Adams, Oregon ($7,700): Adams didn’t have a big statistical game against Stanford – he only threw 12 passes – but he led the Ducks to the win. Oregon will likely go with a run-heavy diet against USC as well, but Adams has torn apart shaky secondaries all year long. He put up 36.3 FanDuel points against Cal and 26.1 against Arizona State. He should be in that neighborhood against the Trojans.

Dark Horses:.

Jerrard Randall, Arizona ($6,000): Randall is only worth a play if Anu Solomon sits out. Solomon was knocked out of the game last weekend with a vicious (and illegal) hit. If he can’t go, Randall could be a nice play against an Arizona State defense that has been shredded this year. Just make sure to check pre-game lineups before going with Randall. He will get snaps even if Solomon starts, but maybe not enough to make a difference.

J.W. Walsh, Oklahoma State ($6,500): Walsh has scored a touchdown on the ground in five straight games, doing so multiple times in two of those games. He is essentially Oklahoma State’s goal-line back. He is touchdown dependent, but no team has managed to keep him from at least scoring one touchdown yet this year. He is worth a flier against a Baylor defense that was gouged by Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield and Samaje Perine last week.

My pick: Reynolds

Next: Who Are The Best RB's?

Nov 7, 2015; Athens, GA, USA; Georgia Bulldogs running back Sony Michel (1) jumps past Kentucky Wildcats defensive back Derrick Baity (29) during the second half at Sanford Stadium. Georgia defeated Kentucky 27-3. Mandatory Credit: Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Running Back:

Best Bets:

Alex Collins, Arkansas ($7,800): Collins ran for an impressive 141 yards on a vaunted LSU defense in a game that the Hogs controlled. Collins also topped the century mark against a good Mississippi defense the week before that. He should have no problems topping 100 against Mississippi State’s 73 ranked run defense.

Sony Michel, Georgia ($6,600): Statistically, Georgia Southern has a good run defense, but they have not faced a back like Michel in that time. The Bulldogs likely won’t run Michel as hard if this game gets out of hand, but he has been productive in every game besides the tilts against Alabama and Florida, two of the best defenses in the country. Michel should have a solid day against the Eagles.

Honorable Mention:

Chris Swain, Navy ($5,900): The worst part for Swain is the fact that Keenan Reynolds scores the lion’s share of the touchdowns, but yards are still plentiful for Swain. Expect him to have a good game against a shaky Tulsa defense.

Ronald Jones, USC ($6,300): Jones was the leading rusher on Friday against Colorado, but turned in an underwhelming performance. He should find the going much easier this week against an Oregon team that is allowing 174 yards per game on the ground.

Dark Horses:

Justin Davis, USC ($5,200): Keep an eye on Tre Madden’s availability leading up to this one, but if Madden is out again, Davis could be a nice play. He outgained Jones last week, and is nearing a 50/50 split in carries out of the Trojan backfield. He has 85 rushing yards in each of his last two games, which could make him a nice play against a porous Oregon run defense so long as Madden is still out.

Joe Williams, Utah ($4,500): With the news that Devontae Booker will be out for the rest of the regular season, that makes Williams a rare bargain. He is now a starting running back against a poor run defense for the lowest price in the game. We don’t know just how the carries will be split, but we do know that Williams is the starter. He is worth using in almost any format.

My picks: Collins and Williams

Next: Can You Afford To Not Play Corey Coleman?

Nov 7, 2015; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Southern California Trojans receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (9) carries the ball against the Arizona Wildcats at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Wide Receiver:

Best Bets:

Corey Coleman, Baylor ($8,700): Oklahoma managed to keep Coleman under wraps, but I have my doubts that Oklahoma State can. Their corners aren’t quite as physical as Oklahoma’s are. Look for Coleman to be the focal point of the offense as the Bears try to salvage their hopes for a Big 12 title.

JuJu Smith, USC ($7,500): The regression of Cody Kessler has seriously hurt Smith’s value, but he is highly recommended against Oregon’s awful pass defense. Smith was a beast in September against lesser opponents. On paper, that’s exactly what Oregon’s pass defense is. This also is likely to be a very high scoring game, so Smith’s ceiling is even higher than usual.

Honorable Mention:

Tyler Boyd, Pittsburgh ($7,000): The Panthers have begun to use Boyd out of the backfield as well to get the ball in his hands. His big play ability and the team’s willingness to run him out of the backfield make him practically bust-proof. Louisville has a solid defense, but Pitt is committed to get the ball in Boyd’s hands however possible. He had 79 yards rushing last week against Duke!

Darren Carrington, Oregon ($6,400): Carrington has 16 catches for 398 yards and four touchdowns in four games since his return from suspension. That is an average of 18.5 FanDuel points per game. Those have come against Washington, Arizona State, Cal, and Stanford. USC’s pass defense is worse than all of them

Michael Thomas, Ohio State ($6,000): Thomas may not be the biggest part of the Ohio State offense, but he has scored a touchdown in four straight games. Michigan State’s pass defense in on the low side of average this season, so Thomas should find some openings. With J.T. Barrett throwing him the ball, it also increases his value some.

Dark Horses:

Charone Peake, Clemson ($4,900): Wake has a good defense, but Peake adds another dimension to the Clemson offense when he is on the field. He is a big play threat that Deshaun Watson has looked to more and more in November. He is worth using as a flier to fill out your roster if you run out of money.

Britain Covey, Utah ($4,700): The Utes keep looking for ways to get the shifty Covey the ball. He is lethal in space, and if the Utes are willing to use him out of the backfield like they did against Arizona, it just adds another dimension to his game. He is largely dependent on a big play, but he has had at least five touches in four of the last five games. He will at least get you something and has a high ceiling.

My picks: Smith, Carrington, and Boyd

Next: Can You Save Money At TE?

Oct 3, 2015; Clemson, SC, USA; Clemson Tigers tight end Jordan Leggett (16) dives over Notre Dame Fighting Irish cornerback Cole Luke (36) for a touchdown in the first quarter at Clemson Memorial Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

Tight End:

Best Bet:

Jordan Leggett, Clemson ($3,500): Clemson seems to have remembered that they have a tight end over the last two games. Leggett has caught nine passes for 130 yards in thos games, and is no longer solely dependent on touchdowns. He should be a strong play against Wake.

Honorable Mention:

Harrison Handley, Utah ($2,900): Handley has become more of a part of the offense during the conference part of the season. He has two touchdowns in the last three games, and has gone over 40 receiving yards in two of those games as well. He still carries a bit of a risk, but the Utes are showing that they look for him in the red zone now. They likely will have to pass more with Booker out, and that could make Handley even more valuable.

Dark Horse:

Troy Fumagalli, Wisconsin ($2,500): Joel Stave has found it necessary to dump the ball off to Fumagalli when he is under pressure, which is quite often against good defenses. Northwestern fits that bill, so look for Fumagalli to be a solid participant in the passing game.

My pick: Handley
