Rob Gronkowski has a decent football career going now, but with some recent pro “Gronksgiving” cooking, he may have a culinary career lined up for him once he leaves the gridiron.

In an effort to boost sales as the holiday season comes around, what better way to promote your brand than to bring in Rob Gronkowski? Dunkin’ Donuts sees the value in Gronk, and brought him in to make a Thanksgiving dinner inspired by coffee.

Gronk promptly called the event “Gronksgiving” and may just be something the Gronkowski family has to embrace for future Thanksgivings. Of course, their family is a pretty big football family, so Thanksgiving is probably already a very big deal.

Gronk helped the DD host create a Turkey doused in maple syrup, coffee, and rosemary. The holiday recipe is a bit unique, but sounds pretty tasty, actually. They topped it off with some espresso gravy. Gronk looked at the tiny spoon in the gravy holder and decided it wouldn’t do, explaining that he had to pour it right from the container instead. The DD host simply couldn’t say no to the 250 pound tight end.

Now, Gronk has a pretty awesome career going for himself right now playing for the New England Patriots. He’s scored over 60 touchdowns since he joined the team in 2010, and has become one of the most dominant tight ends in the game. When he leaves the game though, maybe he could embrace a culinary occupation.

This year, Gronk’s mom may have a threat to the Thanksgiving dinner. At the end of the video Gronk exclaimed, “man, my mom better watch out ’cause I just cooked a bomb dinner.”
