Baylor Bears vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys
The College Football Playoff and national championship hopes of the Baylor Bears went down in flames last week as they suffered their first loss of the season, but those hopes are still alive for the unbeaten Oklahoma State Cowboys as they welcome the Bears to Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday. These are two of the most prolific offenses in the country meeting up in Stillwater, OK with the Bears being led by true freshman quarterback Jarrett Stidham, Shock Linwood, and Corey Coleman. The Cowboys will be led into battle by quarterback Mason Rudolph and receiver James Washington as they will look to move to 11-0 with a huge Big 12 victory over Baylor.

Keys to Victory
The success of Baylor will always hinge on their offensive production. In their loss to the Oklahoma Sooners last week, their offense just wasn’t nearly as productive as the Bears need it to be when up against another highly explosive Big 12 team. Jarrett Stidham threw two interceptions on the night, including a late one when the Bears were still at least somewhat alive in the game. Moreover, Stidham failed to connect with his best receiving target in Corey Coleman on any kind of consistent basis. If the Bears are going to avoid losing consecutive games, Stidham and the offense are going to have to be more composed and, ultimately, more productive.
Because Oklahoma State is still in the Big 12, offense still remains king in Stillwater. However, it’s their defense that’s going to be crucial to their success on Saturday evening. Getting into a shootout with Baylor where no defense is an awful idea because it’s hard to match the big-play players on the Bears. However, if the Cowboys can follow the blueprint laid out by Oklahoma wherein they’re able to force a couple of turnovers and rush Stidham in the pocket, the Pokes should have a great chance at staying undefeated.

Prediction
I expect the Bears to look far better this week than they did in their first loss of the year. Art Briles will have his team motivated and I’m not sure that Oklahoma State has the firepower to keep up with Baylor’s offense when it’s clicking and motivating. It’ll be a wild one, but I have Baylor further mucking up the Big 12.
Final Score: Baylor Bears: 52, Oklahoma State Cowboys: 44
