Darren McFadden will play against the Miami Dolphins after being considered questionable with a groin injury.

Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden suffered a groin injury and was considered questionable to play in the Cowboys’ game against the Miami Dolphins. However, Cowboys beat writer Clarence Hill reported that the gang will be all there and back in full force.

Quarterback Tony Romo will be returning to the field for the first time since Week 2, as he suffered a broken clavicle that forced him to be out for an extended period of time. Wide receiver Dez Bryant was also out for a long time due to a foot injury, but he returned a couple of weeks ago and will become even stronger with the return of Romo.

McFadden has picked up the slack in the Cowboys’ running game, and he has shined since the release of Joseph Randle. McFadden has benefited from a fantastic Cowboys offensive line and rushed for over 100 yards in two games. He should be even more dangerous with Romo coming back. McFadden playing is a huge break for the Cowboys since their depth has become even thinner with the release of Christine Michael.

Robert Turbin has been signed to be McFadden’s primary backup, which is necessary considering McFadden’s extensive injury history. The Cowboys will look to finally snap out of their funk by taking advantage of an offense that can be two-dimensional once again with the return of Romo.
