Dennis Rodman couldn’t care less about the current Golden State Warriors.

It looks like Dennis Rodman is remaining as controversial as ever with his latest statements when he sat down with Sirius XM NBA Radio. Earlier Thursday when asked about his views comparing his own ’95-’96 Chicago Bulls and the current 2015 Golden State Warriors and if Curry and his team could top his mid-90 Bulls, Rodman responded by saying, “People say they’re going to go 72-10, I don’t care they can go 81-1. We did it first.”

The ’95-’96 Chicago Bulls had stellar talent with Micheal Jordan, Scottie Pippen including a strong supporting Steve Kerr, Ron Harper, Luc Longley and Dennis Rodman. And to Rodman, that NBA of the mid-90’s was a lot stronger than it is today but that’s certainly up for debate.

The Golden State Warriors have gotten off to a good start and a couple of NBA fans doubted that the Warriors could maintain their streak, but now that the magic number is up to 13, a record besting 72-10 seems well within reach if GS plays their cards right all season.

Then again, other critics of the Warriors point out the fact that, for the most part, Golden State has played teams that aren’t up to their caliber and overall the Warriors haven’t really been tested. Also, four teams have gone 13-0 before them.

The Warriors face up against the Bulls later on Friday. It should be noted that just two years ago it was the Chicago Bulls that bested the Miami Heat 101-97 back in March that saw the Heat’s streak end at 27. We’ll be keen to see if they really are the streak busters they’ve made themselves out to be.
