WWE Survivor Series in Atlanta is listed as a possible ISIS target according to hacker group Anonymous

After the attacks in Paris on Nov. 13, the world has been on high alert for more possible attacks from the terrorist group ISIS. The group claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks and has since promised that they plan to target more cities and venues around the world. In an attempt to thwart ISIS and save lives from a potential attack, the famous hacker group Anonymous has been leaking information about the terrorist group, including names of supporters and recently a list of possible attack sites.

Among the latest list of possible ISIS targets leaked by Anonymous, as reported by the International Business Times, is Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, Nov. 22 as WWE will be hosting Survivor Series.

Mark Winne of WSB-TV in Atlanta became aware of the developing possible threat and reported the story as it continued to unfold via sources and statements from an FBI official:

Winne also reported that there were talks being had between the Atlanta Police Department and other city officials about potentially re-planning Survivor Series on Sunday:

However, the FBI official said in his statement that the department has no credible information of an possible threat for Sunday at the WWE pay-per-view. He added that they are still on alert and taking the information from Anonymous seriously, but they don’t have anything else to suggest a possible attack:

Regardless of if the information is 100 percent credible, this certainly puts an uneasy aura around Survivor Series on Sunday. However, it is positive that the police department and FBI are at least aware of a possible threat and are already working to keep the area and event safe.
