Practically no one showed up for Miami’s 2015 senior day.

The stage was set for the University of Miami seniors. Going out to play their final home game, they were ready to come out of the tunnel hearing the crowd roar for them one last time at Sun Life Stadium. But when they came out, they heard little-to-no roar, unfortunately.

Although a large stadium with a couple hundred–maybe even thousand–people in it looks like no one is there, there’s definitely a fair amount of people MIA down in South Florida. It’s definitely unfortunate for the seniors that they have to end their college football careers like this, with practically no one in attendance to watch them play.

The Hurricanes weren’t the only team struggling to draw fans in this Saturday. The University of Maryland had to disguise their empty stands with some flags and parents covering the student section.

Not a great turnout for two of the more underwhelming teams from this college football season. Then again, late-November games between Indiana and Maryland, and Georgia Tech and Miami will tend to keep the seats open.
