The Chicago Bears will be without wide receiver Alshon Jeffery on Sunday afternoon.
Chicago is trying to get to 5-5 on the season and stay in the NFC wild card race, but it is not getting easier. The Bears are going to be without star wide receiver Alshon Jeffery on Sunday at Solider Field against the Denver Broncos, due to groin and shoulder ailments.
Despite being listed as questionable with groin/shoulder injuries, Bears WR Alshon Jeffery not expected to play today vs Denver, per source.

The Bears are coming off consecutive road wins over the San Diego Chargers and St. Louis Rams, and now return home with the idea of making a late run toward the postseason. However, Chicago might have a very tough time moving the ball without Jeffery against Denver, one of the premiere defensive teams in the league. Jeffery has 36 catches for 515 yards and a pair of scores.
The Broncos have a pair of elite corners in Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr., who now are going against a bunch of mediocre players on the outside.
Quarterback Jay Cutler will need to rely on the rushing attack led by Jeremy Langford, who looks like the real deal in his rookie season. Cutler will also be looking for tight end Martellus Bennett, who has 48 receptions for 399 yards and three touchdowns.
