The Dallas Cowboys beat the Miami Dolphins on Sunday
It was the return of Tony Romo on Sunday, as the Dallas Cowboys faced the Miami Dolphins down in Sun Life Stadium.
This one had a little bit of everything in it. Some rainy South Beach weather ushered in the game. Romo tossed left-handed, threw right-handed, passed for touchdowns and also had interceptions. Ryan Tannehill fumbled, bumbled and had his share of touchdowns and interceptions. Basically, it was a sloppy game befitting of two teams with losing records.
Thanks to 10 points in the fourth quarter Dallas pulled away for the victory.

Three Stars
1. Tony Romo
Let’s be honest here, without Romo this wouldn’t have even been a game. Win or lose, he’s just what the Cowboys needed. The team is completely different with him in. Besides, who didn’t miss the full Romo experience?
Final line: 18/29, 227 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT.
2. Kelvin Sheppard
Sheppard put up a solid stat line of 15 tackles (11 total) and one tackle for a loss.
3. Brent Grimes
Grimes was his pesky self on Sunday, zipping around the secondary. He had 5 tackles (4 total), one pass defense and one interception for 17 yards.
Odds
Dallas was favored by 2.5 points and covered.
Next Week
