Darren Fells gets up for the TD pass from Carson Palmer (Video)

Carson Palmer was off to a rocky start on Sunday night but then he found the big man, Darren Fells

To say that things on Sunday night got off to a bad start for Carson Palmer would probably be an understatement. He threw two interceptions in the first quarter against the Bengals and things were not looking good as Cincinnati grabbed a 7-0 lead.

However, the second quarter it seems that Palmer may have found his rhythm once again.

With just under 10 minutes to go in the second quarter, Palmer had the Cardinals just inside the Bengals’ 20-yard line and that’s where he got things back on track. He rolled out to his right and he looked for the big man, Darren Fells, in the corner of the end zone who used that height of his to come down with the scoring grab.

Now that’s something that not just the Cardinals, but Palmer sorely needed. This offense was off to a bad beginning to this prime time showdown and things needed to get turned around in a hurry.

Maybe that was the score that could kick start the leaders of the NFC West the rest of the way.
