Cardinals backup quarterback Matt Barkley seems to be streaking during pregame activities.
So Arizona Cardinals backup quarterback Matt Barkley is doing weird things before their Sunday Night Football clash with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Barkley was seen running across the field in his underwear with Gatorade towels taped to his legs almost like they’re intended to resemble chaps.
Clearly Matt Barkley is on the wrong side of a USC bet? pic.twitter.com/OXGWu2wqnO

Well Matt Barkley clearly lost a bet. Just had to run to midfield and dance in this get up. pic.twitter.com/oYXEEWyDao

But why is Barkley basically streaking before the game?
This must be USC-Oregon related https://t.co/6VXLVFEKTC

Linsay Jones’ theory about Barkley would make sense since Barkley went to USC and the Trojans lost. The interesting wrinkle here is that no one on the Cardinals went to Oregon, meaning it is either someone who really doesn’t like USC or a friend on another team.
Barkley has to be happy that he had to pay up on this bet in the comforts of Arizona and their domed stadium. If the Cardinals were playing somewhere further north, like at Soldier Field in Chicago, this would’ve been a lot more rough on him.
[UPDATE:] Apparently it wasn’t a bet, rather Barkley lost an accuracy contest.
Matt Barkley lost this week’s accuracy contest, appeared to be wearing Gatorade towels fashioned as chaps. appearance was brief.
