The biggest NASCAR race of the year is taking place right now and it bumped Football Night in America
At the time that I am typing this right now here on this Sunday night, there is NBC on my TV screen. Now this is the time of Sunday evening where Football Night in America is supposed to be on, prepping us all for the Sunday night showdown of the week. However, there is not Football Night in America on, rather there is the final NASCAR race of the season in “The Chase.”
While this is the most important race of the year in NASCAR, we all have to remember that football still rules in this country. So, with that being the case, we have an obvious problem on our hands here.
So what do you do when you have a problem nowadays? Well, you hit the internet, of course, and express your anger!
College Basketball, College Football, Tennis, Soccer, and the list goes on for sports that was placed over a NASCAR race.

Good thing people like NASCAR more than football. #NBC

Football night in America should be on, not 50+ more laps of nascar. The REAL sport should take over regardless of laps left. STUPID😡

On another note.. Why are media people who follow @NASCAR digging through looking for tweets from football fans who are mad??

Because, Mr. Sadler, this is how I make money to pay for my chicken wings.
Football whether it's NFL or College, has interrupted NASCAR countless times. About time that it is the other way around.

Dear NFL fans. You had football Thursday. You had football today. You have football tonight. You have football Monday night. Chill.

Can’t we just all get along?
