The Detroit Lions got the win over the Oakland Raiders.

28. Final. 18. 50. 13

The Detroit Lions were able to carry their momentum from the win at Lambeau Field agains the Green Bay Packers into Ford Field against the Oakland Raiders.

It wasn’t pretty though.

Each team scored a lone touchdown and the kickers for both teams were the stars of the game. The Lions’ Matt Prater and Raiders’ Sebastian Janikowski combined for five field goals and 17 points in the game.

Both quarterbacks were serviceable, but anything but dazzling.

Three stars

  1. Calvin Johnson, WR, Lions – Johnson had five receptions for 88 yards and zero touchdowns.
  2. Matthew Stafford, QB, Lions – Stafford completed 22 of 35 passes for 282 yards. Stafford scored a touchdown on his feet and rushed six times for 31 yards.
  3. Matt Prater, K, Lions – Prater made three field goals, including one from 51 yards out.

Highlights

We wish there were some to show you. Both touchdowns came from less than five yards out, and the majority of the points came from field goals.

This game was rough to watch.

Next Week
