16. 26. 13. 51. Final

The game between the Baltimore Ravens and St. Louis Rams looked like it’d be a rough contest between two teams who haven’t lived up to expectations. And it lived up its billing and was a rough contest to watch.

Wind was a factor and impacted the game. Rams kicker Greg Zuerlin missed a field goal and Ravens kicker Justin Tucker missed a field goal to win the game in the final two minutes. Tucker missed two of four field goal attempts on the day at this point.

Tucker got another shot at kicking the game-winning field goal and delivered on this attempt.

The big injury of the game was to Ravens running back Justin Forsett, who exited the game early with a broken arm. The injury was pretty horrific and his arm was visibly broken to viewers at home.

After the game it was announced that Joe Flacco tore his ACL and is out for the season.

Three stars

  1. Case Keenum, QB, Rams – Keenum completed 50 percent of his passes and wasn’t particularly accurate, but he threw a touchdown pass.
  2. Crockett Gillmore, WR, Ravens – Gillmore caught five passes for 101 yards.
  3. Justin Tucker, K, Ravens – Kicked game-winning field goal.

Highlights

Todd Gurley scored a touchdown:

That lone one-yard touchdown was about the only highlight of the game.
