Teddy Bridgewater bamboozled the Packers defense with a beautiful touchdown pass to Kyle Rudolph.
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has shown no fear so far in an NFC North rivalry matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Bridgewater showed great poise in the first quarter with a touchdown pass to tight end Kyle Rudolph, who took it 47 yards while dodging Packers safety Micah Hyde. Here is a video of Bridgewater placing his pass perfectly into Rudolph’s hands.
Rudolph does not get involved in the Vikings’ passing game often since wide receiver Stefon Diggs has emerged as Bridgewater’s primary weapon. Rudolph makes it count whenever Bridgewater throws the ball his way though. Rudolph now has four touchdown catches on the season, and he has managed to stay healthy throughout the 2015 season after an extensive injury history.
Bridgewater is also continuing to show promise in his second season in the NFL, as he has brought a winning culture to the Vikings locker room. The Vikings defense has also shined throughout the season, as they rank second in scoring defense with 17.1 points allowed per game.
The Vikings currently hold the lead in the NFC North over the Packers with a 7-2 record. They are riding a five-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Packers are looking to snap a three-game losing streak with a 6-3 record. A fourth consecutive loss would put their hopes of winning a fifth consecutive NFC North title in jeopardy.
