Todd Gurley scores TD for fifth consecutive game (Video)

Todd Gurley rushed for his sixth touchdown of the season against the Baltimore Ravens on a goal-line carry.
St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley continues to make a strong case for Offensive Rookie of the Year, as he scored the first touchdown of the game against the Washington Redskins. Gurley has been well worth the wait for the Rams as he recovered from a torn ACL to take over as the team’s feature back in Week 3. He has never looked back. Here is a video of Gurley showing his strength at the goal line.
Gurley has now rushed for a touchdown in five consecutive games, and this is an encouraging statistic for a Rams offense that still struggles to find consistent quarterback play. Case Keenum has taken over for Nick Foles since he was benched, but he has not proven to be a reliable starter either so far. This leaves Gurley with more opportunities to rush for touchdowns and 100 yards in a game. Gurley has rushed for at least 100 yards in four games this season.
The Rams are getting what they paid for in Gurley, as he was drafted by them with the 10th overall pick. Gurley emerged as a Heisman Trophy favorite in his final season at Georgia, but a torn ACL changed everything. However, his potential was enough for the Rams to take a chance on him despite his injury history.
